This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of the product series of tempered glassware for catering. This standard applies to the series of soda-lime glass tempered glassware and hot-bent tempered glassware for catering. This standard does not apply to ordinary glassware that has not been tempered by the tempering process defined in this standard, nor does it apply to mouth-tempered or semi-tempered glass cups and other tempered glassware.
