Scope

This standard specifies 6kV oil-immersed transformers for power distribution (hereinafter referred to as transformers) that are compatible with specific equipment used for general power reception and distribution purposes. The capacity range of the transformer is single-phase 10kVA or more and 500kVA or less, three-phase 20kVA or more and 2000kVA or less, and the rated frequency is 50Hz or 60Hz.
