- Warning: This method requires the use of toxic gas ozone. The limit mass concentration of ozone in the laboratory is 200 μg/m. Excess ozone should be vented to an activated carbon scrubber or outdoors and away from the sampling inlet. This standard specifies the ultraviolet photometric method for the determination of ozone in ambient air. This standard is applicable to the instantaneous measurement of ozone in ambient air, and also to the continuous automatic monitoring of ozone in ambient air. This standard is suitable for measuring the concentration range of ozone in ambient air from 0.003 to 2 mg/m.
