Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions of various types of rotary kilns (including preheating, firing and cooling systems), calculation basis and calculation basis, rotary kiln system balance calculation, heat balance and thermal efficiency of coolers for the production of Portland cement clinker calculation etc. This standard is applicable to the calculation of heat balance, thermal efficiency and comprehensive energy consumption of clinker firing of various types of rotary kilns (including preheating, firing and cooling systems) for the production of Portland cement clinker. When waste is used as alternative raw material and alternative fuel, the calculation method of heat balance, thermal efficiency and comprehensive energy consumption of clinker firing can refer to this standard.
