Scope: This standard specifies the definition, classification, specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage and transportation, and quality certificates of graphite crucibles. This standard applies to crucibles used for melting, refining and heat preservation of non-ferrous metals and their alloys (see Appendix A for specific scope of application and service life). Artificial graphite crucibles, high-purity graphite crucibles, crucibles for processing carbon products and their models can refer to this standard.
