Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, as well as packaging, marking, storage and transportation of mechanical vibration aging devices. This standard is applicable to mechanical vibration aging devices that treat castings, forgings, welded parts, molds, and machined parts made of carbon structural steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and nonferrous metals.
