Scope: This standard describes the types and characteristics of double grain structures, and stipulates the corresponding measurement methods and result labels. This standard specifies the determination method and result identification of primary carbide distribution. This standard applies to the determination of double grain structure and primary carbide distribution in wrought superalloys. This standard is only used as a recommended test method, and does not specify the acceptable grade range for the acceptance test of wrought superalloy products.
