Scope

This standard specifies the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for the determination of phthalates (seven species, see Appendix A) in water-based glue for cigarettes. The detection of other phthalates can also be used as a reference. This standard is applicable to the determination of phthalates in water-based glue for cigarettes.
