- This procedure is applicable to the testing of the compressive strength of structural concrete (hereinafter referred to as concrete strength) whose cross-section has right-angled sides and can be subjected to shear pressure. When there are testing requirements for the strength of concrete in a structure, the testing can be carried out according to this procedure and the strength of the concrete can be estimated. The testing results can be used as a basis for dealing with concrete strength issues. This procedure is not applicable to the testing of the strength of structural concrete where there is a significant difference between the surface and internal quality or where there are internal defects.
