- This specification is formulated in order to unify the technical requirements for the construction and management of water supply pump wells, ensure the quality of pump well construction, improve management levels, give full play to benefits, realize sustainable development and utilization of groundwater resources and protect the ecological environment. This specification applies to the planning, design, construction, matching, acceptance and management of agricultural, industrial and domestic water supply wells. The planning, design, construction, matching, acceptance and management of motorized wells shall not only comply with this specification, but also comply with the relevant current national standards.
