- This standard is formulated in order to unify the drawing rules of HVAC professional, ensure the quality of drawing, improve the efficiency of drawing, make the drawing clear and concise, meet the requirements of design, construction and archiving, and meet the needs of engineering construction. This standard applies to drawings drawn by the following drawing methods: manual drawing; computer drawing. This standard is applicable to the following engineering drawings of the HVAC profession: design drawings and as-built drawings of each stage of new construction, reconstruction and expansion projects; actual measurement drawings of original buildings and structures; general design drawings and standard design drawings. HVAC professional drawing, in addition to complying with this standard, should also comply with the provisions of the relevant current national standards.
