Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the water content in insulating fluids using the Karl Fis her coulometric titration method. This standard is applicable to insulating fluids whose relative saturation of water in oil is less than 100%. The coulometric method has high sensitivity (usually can detect 10?g water). This standard uses Karl Fis her coulometric titration instrument.
