This Recommendation provides the frame work for supporting and defining the role of operations for the Next Generation Services and Networks. This recommendation will provide guidance in the development of processes and systems supporting the Operations environments. Operations are the back bone of Service Providers in ensuring services is provided at customer expectations while supporting Key Business Objectives of the corporation. Operations organizations takes into account but not limited to the entire value chain across an operator from Strategy to Service Introduction, Maintenance, Management, and Administration (FAB). Operations require real-time access to all information about the Services and Networks that are supported or being introduced.
