Scope

This standard applies to water meters that measure the volume of chilled water of 30°C or less flowing in pipes and pipes that can withstand a maximum allowable working pressure of at least 1 MPa (at least 0.6 MPa for meters with a nominal diameter of 500 or more). This specification specifies hot water meters (hereinafter simply referred to as "meters" in the provisions common to both in this standard) that measure the volume of clean hot water below 180°C flowing through the water.
