Scope

This standard applies to polyethylene pipes (hereinafter referred to as pipes) that comply with JIS K 6774, used for the supply of city gas and liquefied petroleum gas, and heat fusion joints used for fusion joining with spigot joints that comply with JIS K 6775-2. This specification specifies the physical properties of fusion joints (hereinafter referred to as joints), general properties of joint materials, joint dimensions, and performance.
