- This standard specifies the communication protocol between the electric vehicle battery management system (Battery Management System, hereinafter referred to as BMS) and the off-board charger (0ff-boarfl Charger, hereinafter referred to as the charger). This standard applies to off-board charging of electric vehicles. The CAN identifier of this standard is 29 bits and the communication baud rate is 250kbps. However, this standard is not limited to the 29-bit identifier and the communication baud rate of 250kbps. If other formats are used, refer to this standard to formulate its CAN identifier. Data transmis ion in this standard adopts the low-order bit first format. Negative current values represent charging, and positive current values represent dis harge.
