Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of caustic alkalinity in alumina industrial wastewater. This standard is applicable to the determination of caustic alkalinity in alumina industrial wastewater. The determination range is: 50 mg/L-1 000 mg/L. This standard is also applicable to the determination of caustic alkalinity in aluminum-containing alkaline wastewater from other industries.
