- This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage and contract (or order form) contents of zinc plates and zinc strips for batteries. This standard applies to the manufacture of zinc plates and zinc strips for welding zinc cylinders for negative electrodes of zinc-manganese dry batteries.
