Scope
This standard specifies a gas chromatographic test method for determining the combined content of oil vapor (hydrocarbons with six or more carbon atoms) and organic solvents, independent of the type of compressed air source. This standard also provides guidance on the use of detector tubes as an initial indication of the presence of oil vapor.
