Scope

This Pulicly Available Specification (PAS) specifies requirements for portable and/or transportable Netative Pressure Units(NPUs) for use in the controlled removal of asbestos-cotaining materials. This PAS is also applicable to NPUs designed for the provision of nagetive pressure within a portable decontamination facility and two-part NPUs. This PAS is not applicable to local exhaust ventilation.
