Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of polyvinyl chloride artificial leather for automobiles (hereinafter referred to as "artificial leather"). This standard applies to polyvinyl chloride artificial leather for automobiles made from polyvinyl chloride resin as the main raw material, adding plasticizers and other additives, and using knitted or plain woven fabric as the base through calendering or coating processes. Mainly used for automotive interior parts.
