Scope: This standard defines the approach for structuring lists of properties for electrical and process control equipment, for example measuring devices, actuators, motors, low-voltage switchgear, etc. in order to facilitate fully automatic engineering workflows in the planning and maintenance of industrial plants and to allow both the customers and the suppliers of the devices to optimize their processes and workflows.
