This standard specifies the terms and definitions, conditions of use, technical performance requirements, structural and conductor requirements, safety requirements, quality requirements and testing, marking, packaging, etc. of high-voltage power filter devices. This standard is applicable to high voltages connected in parallel in power systems with an AC rated frequency of 50 Hz and a nominal voltage of l kV or above. It is used to filter out specific harmonic currents to reduce grid voltage waveform distortion and improve power quality and power factor. Power filtering device (hereinafter referred to as filtering device).
