- This standard specifies the type, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of shaft-mounted reducers (hereinafter referred to as reducers). This standard applies to parallel shaft and involute cylindrical gear reducers with zigzag axis arrangements.
