Scope

This part specifies the shaft end type and basic dimensions of the camshaft of the diesel engine fuel injection pump with a tapered drive shaft. This section applies to in-line fuel injection pump camshafts (hereinafter referred to as camshafts) of tractors, automobiles, fixed, mobile and small marine diesel engines.
