This standard specifies the microbial inhibition method for the detection of thiamphenicol and fluthiamphenicol residues in foods of animal origin. This standard is applicable to the screening and detection of thiamphenicol and fluthiamphenicol drug residues in meat, fish, shrimp and milk.
