- Scope
- This standard specifies the sodium hypochlorite-salicylic acid spectrophotometric method for the determination of ammonia in ambient air. This standard is applicable to the determination of ammonia in ambient air, and also to the determination of ammonia in the air at the boundary of the odor source factory. The detection limit of this standard method is 0.1μg/10ml absorption solution. When the total volume of the absorption liquid is 10ml and the gas collection volume is 1~4L, the detection limit of ammonia is 0.025mg/m, the lower limit of determination is 0.10mg/m, and the upper limit of determination is 12mg/m. When the absorption liquid volume is 10ml and the sampling volume is 25L, the detection limit of ammonia is 0.004mg/m, and the lower determination limit is 0.016mg/m.
