Scope
This standard specifies a spectrophotometric method for the determination of gaseous arsenic and its compound silver diethyldithiocarbamate in waste gas from yellow phosphorus production. This standard is applicable to the determination of arsenic and its compounds existing in gaseous form in waste gas from yellow phosphorus production. The detection limit of this method is 1.25μg/ml silver diethyldithiocarbamate absorption solution. When the gas sampling volume is 15L, the detection limit of arsenic is 0.08mg/m, and the lower limit of determination is 0.32mg/m (all based on As meter).
