Scope

Amendment 1 to Recommendation ITU-T G.711 (1998) introduces Annex A, which recommends the use of Recommendation ITU-T G.711.0 (2009) for applications requiring the lossless encoding of frames consisting of 40, 80, 160, 240 and 320 A-/µ-law log-PCM samples conforming to Recommendation ITU-T G.711.
