Scope

This standard specifies the terminology, grades, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, transportation and storage of quicklime for silicate building products. This standard applies to quicklime used in silicate building products such as autoclaved aerated concrete, autoclaved ash bricks, fly ash bricks and fly ash blocks.
