Scope
This standard is applicable to acute poisoning caused by inhalation of high concentration carbon monoxide in iron and steel industry, chemical industry, gas, coal, transportation and other production activities. The diagnosis of living acute carbon monoxide poisoning can also refer to this standard. Whether long-term exposure to low-concentration carbon monoxide can cause "chronic carbon monoxide poisoning" has been debated so far, and it does not belong to the scope of application of this standard.
