Scope: This standard specifies the acceptance test for verifying the performance of the image measuring instrument with a calibrated length standard, and the re-inspection test for the user to periodically re-verify the performance of the image measuring instrument. The acceptance test and re-inspection test stipulated in this standard are applicable to the image measuring instrument in the XY plane Cartesian coordinate system, including the image measuring instrument with positioning or measurement function in the Z direction perpendicular to the plane Cartesian coordinate system. The acceptance test and re-inspection test specified in this standard are not applicable to the three-coordinate measuring machine with video detection system and the image measuring machine with three-dimensional trigger probe. This standard specifies the completion method of acceptance testing and re-inspection testing to verify the performance requirements of image measuring instruments, the rules for judging conformity and the application of acceptance testing and re-inspection testing.
