Scope: This part of GB/T 24684 specifies two test methods for evaluating the performance of a cleaning system installed on a plant protection sprayer for removing deposits on the exterior surface of the sprayer. The purpose of the test is to provide sprayer designers with information on sprayer contamination and to compare different accessories or adjustments related to external cleaning (Test A) and to provide a means of measuring the performance of different cleaning systems (Test B ). This section applies to mounted, towed and self-propelled agricultural sprayers for plant protection and spraying liquid fertilizers.
