Scope: This standard applies to the general requirements for clean production of alumina production enterprises (except for bauxite mining and self-produced thermal power production parts). This standard divides cleaner production standards into six categories, namely production process and equipment requirements, resource and energy utilization indicators, product indicators, pollutant generation indicators (before terminal treatment), waste recycling indicators and environmental management requirements. This standard is applicable to the cleaner production audit for the production of alumina using the Bayer process and the combined process using aluminum ore as raw material, the judgment of cleaner production potential and opportunities, as well as the cleaner production performance assessment and cleaner production performance announcement system. It is also applicable to environmental impact assessment. and environmental management systems such as pollution discharge permits.
