Scope
This standard specifies the sodium indigo disulfonate spectrophotometric method for the determination of ozone in ambient air. This standard applies to the determination of ozone in ambient air. The measurement of ozone in the air of relatively closed environments (such as indoors, cars, etc.) can also refer to this standard. When the sampling volume is 30L, the detection limit of this standard for measuring ozone in the air is 0.010 mg/m, and the lower detection limit is 0.040 mg/m. When the sampling volume is 30L and the mass concentration of the absorption liquid is 2.5 μg/ml or 5.0 μg/ml, the upper limit of determination is 0.50 mg/m or 1.00 mg/m respectively. When the ozone mass concentration in the air exceeds the upper limit, the sampling volume can be appropriately reduced.
