Scope: This part of YY/T 0698 provides requirements and test methods for sealable gummed paper produced with paper that conforms to YY/T 0698.6. This packaging material is used for packaging medical devices that are ultimately sterilized by ethylene oxide or radiation. This part does not add requirements to the general requirements of ISO 11607-1, but only provides guidance on each element based on ISO 11607-1 and relevant national standards. Therefore, the specific requirements in 4.2~4.3 can be used to demonstrate compliance with one or more requirements of ISO 11607-1, but not all of its requirements.
