- This standard specifies the determination of aromatic hydrocarbons content in aviation kerosene, diesel fuel and their blending components. This standard is applicable to aviation kerosene with a monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon content of 10% to 25% and a bicyclic aromatic hydrocarbon content of 0% to 7%, and to aviation kerosene with a monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon content of 4% to 40%, a bicyclic aromatic hydrocarbon content of 0% to 20%, and tricyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Determination of aromatic hydrocarbon content in diesel fuel and its blending components with a cyclic aromatic hydrocarbon content of 0% to 6%, a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon content of 0% to 26%, and a total aromatic hydrocarbon content of 4% to 65%.
