Scope

This standard specifies the principle, equipment, samples, test procedures and test results for the determination of apparent porosity of carbon materials. This standard applies to the determination of apparent porosity of carbon materials. There are two methods for measuring apparent porosity, namely vacuum method and boiling method. In the arbitration analysis, the vacuum method was used.
