Scope: This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and identification of self-locking devices with flexible guide rails. This standard is applicable to self-locking devices with flexible guide rails used by persons with a combined weight and load of no more than 100 kg. When the total mass of the user exceeds 100 kg, the manufacturer’s opinion should be consulted, and it can only be used after passing the test. . This standard does not apply to flexible tracks whose inclination angle exceeds 15º from the vertical.
