- Scope
- Specifies general requirements for the technical competence and good management of a chemical laboratory so that compliance with the resulting Standard will provide an assurance that test data generated by the laboratory are of high quality, scientifically reliable, and in accordance with national and international Standards. The Standard focuses on laboratory organization, personnel, facilities, test equipment and instrumentation, calibration, safety, sample storage, data recording, reporting, quality assurance system, and procedures for regular inspection and assessment.
