- This standard gives general guidelines for supply chain risk management, including the steps of supply chain risk management, and methods and tools for identifying, analyzing, evaluating and responding to supply chain risks. Supply chain risk management in this standard applies to all types of organizations to protect their purchases of any product in the supply chain. This International Standard applies to persons involved in the procurement process, both internal and external to the organization.
