This standard specifies a test method for evaluating the smoothness of the seam appearance of fabrics after one or several washing treatments. The purpose of this standard is to assess existing seams, the sewing technique of which is not covered. This standard is mainly applicable to the washing procedures of type B household washing machines stipulated in GB/T 8629, and is also applicable to type A washing machines.
