Scope

The procedure is applicable to the determination of nitrogen present or available in solid fertilizers as ammonia or ammonium ion. It is not applicable to samples containing urea, magnesium ammonium phos-phate, MgNH4 PO4, or ferrous ammonium phosphate, FeNH4 PO4 .
