Scope
This European Standard specifies methods for the determination of monoethylene glycol and diethylene glycol in the four conventional EC food simulants; water, 3 % w/v acetic acid, 15 % v/v ethanol and olive oil. The methods are capable of determining monoethylene glycol and diethylene glycol in food simulants separately, or combined, at the specific migration limit SML (T) of 30 mg/kg.
