Scope
In order to determine the chemical composition, moisture content and physical characteristics of the delivery batch, this standard specifies the methods of mechanical sampling, manual sampling and sample preparation during the transfer process, including: a) basic principles; b) basic principles of sampling and sample preparation ; c) Basic requirements for the design, installation and operation of the sampling system. The method specified in this standard is applicable to the loading and unloading sampling of direct reduced iron (DRI) and hot briquetted iron (HBI) delivery lots by mechanical samplers or belt conveyors and other ore transport equipment for safety stop sampling. In this standard, DRI includes reduced pellets and reduced lump ore.
