Scope

This standard specifies the detection methods for 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons such as naphthalene in food simulants of wood products made of food contact materials. This standard is applicable to the determination of 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons such as naphthalene in food simulants water, 3% acetic acid solution, 10% ethanol solution, and olive oil substitute isooctane in wood products made of food contact materials.
