- This standard specifies the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry detection method for 12 phthalate plasticizers in plastics and their products. This standard is applicable to the determination of 12 phthalate plasticizers in plastics and their products. The molecular structure of phthalate plasticizers is: R1-CO2-CH-CO-R. The English names, Chemical Abstracts numbers and molecular formulas of the 12 plasticizers are shown in Appendix A.
