Scope
This standard specifies the general method for the determination of hexavalent chromium in inorganic chemical products - the principle of diphenylcarbazide spectrophotometry, safety tips, general regulations, reagents, instruments, equipment, analysis procedures and result calculations. This standard is applicable to the determination of hexavalent chromium ions in inorganic chemical products. The hexavalent chromium ion (Cr) is linear in the range of 0.004mg/L~1.000mg/L. The volume of the test solution is 50mL, using a cuvette with an optical path length of 3cm, the minimum detection amount of this method is 0.2μg hexavalent flower chromium, and the minimum detection concentration is 0.004mg/L; use a colorimetric cuvette with an optical path length of 1cm Dish, the upper limit concentration of determination is 1.000mg/L (see Appendix A for ions that do not interfere with the determination).
