Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for interoperable softswitch and interoperable media gateway equipment when softswitch networks of different operators interoperate, including: network structure, technical requirements for interoperable softswitch equipment (including functional requirements, interface and protocol requirements, performance indicators , timing and synchronization requirements, traffic statistics and network management requirements, operation and maintenance requirements, billing requirements, hardware requirements, software requirements, environmental requirements, power supply and grounding requirements), interoperable media gateway equipment technical requirements (including functional requirements, interfaces and protocols requirements, performance indicators, timing and synchronization requirements, traffic statistics and network management requirements, operation and maintenance requirements, hardware requirements, software requirements, environmental requirements, power supply and grounding requirements). This standard applies to interoperable softswitch and interoperable media gateway equipment provided, maintained and managed by operators. In this standard, the mobile operator softswitch network specifically refers to the TD-SCDMA/WCDMA mobile softswitch (R4 circuit domain) network and the cdma2000 digital cellular mobile communication network traditional terminal domain (LMSD) mobile softswitch network, and the fixed softswitch network The softswitch equipment in the network is called fixed softswitch. The MSC Server in the TD-SCDMAlWCDMA mobile softswitch network and the MSCe in the cdma2000 digital cellular mobile communication network traditional terminal domain (LMSD) mobile softswitch network are collectively called mobile softswitch. Fixed softswitching and mobile softswitching are collectively called softswitching.
