Scope

This standard establishes the requirements for various types of intermediate bulk container (IBC) that are specified for the containment of dangerous substances for road and rail transportation in South Africa, other than radioactive material of class 7 and most of the explosives of class 1 (see 5.1 and Packing Instruction IBC 100).
